A two-day hackathon hosted by Mila, Maya HTT, Canada's Ocean Supercluster and CSL. Teams work on predictive maintenance for underwater hull fouling using real telemetry data from a dry bulk cargo vessel, balancing maintenance costs against fuel efficiency and CO2 reduction. The challenge bridges academic AI research with industrial maritime optimization. Primarily open to Mila students and referred participants; industry professionals participate by invitation only.
