Terms of Use
These terms apply to anyone who uses TechEvents.ai. By using the site, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, don’t use the site.
What TechEvents.ai is
TechEvents.ai is a directory of Canadian tech events. We aggregate information about events from public sources and from organizers who claim or submit listings. The site is operated by Wealth Capital Connections, based in Ontario, Canada.
Event data: where it comes from, what it means
The events listed on TechEvents.ai are aggregated from publicly available information. We try to keep listings accurate and current, but we don’t guarantee any of the following:
- That an event will happen as described
- That times, locations, prices, or links are correct
- That an event is endorsed, sponsored, or affiliated with us
- That the organizer will respond to inquiries
Always confirm event details with the organizer before showing up, paying, or making travel plans.
If we say an event is hosted by an organization, that’s based on the public listing. We don’t verify organizer identity unless they claim the listing.
For event organizers
If your event appears on TechEvents.ai and you want it changed, claimed, or removed, use our contact form or email us at privacy@techevents.ai. We process requests within 10 business days.
You can claim your organization’s listings by verifying you’re the organizer. Once your claim is approved, you can change the dates and times of those listings yourself, and the change appears straight away. Other changes, and new events you add, are reviewed by us before they appear.
By submitting or claiming an event, you confirm:
- You have the right to publish the information you submit
- The information is accurate
- You’ll keep it reasonably up to date
- You’re not using the directory to promote spam, scams, or illegal activity
We can remove or refuse any listing at our discretion, including events we judge to be off-topic, misleading, or inconsistent with the directory’s purpose.
Acceptable use
Don’t:
- Scrape, crawl, or systematically download the site
- Use the directory to harass, defame, or harm anyone
- Submit false, misleading, or duplicate listings
- Try to break, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the site
- Use any automated means to access the site beyond what a normal browser does
- Use the site or its data to build a competing directory
If you’d like access to the data for research, journalism, or partnership, email us. We’re usually happy to talk.
